UP CAPES CAPES WEEK 2025: Engineered to Excel, One Block at a Time
CAPES Week 2025 was held at the Melchor Hall Lobby from October 8 to 10, 2025. This year’s iteration of UP CAPES’ opening event showcased the organization’s upcoming initiatives and opportunities for engineering students of UP Diliman.

The event kicked off with Social Media Challenges posted on the official Facebook page of UP CAPES, from October 1 - 9. Participants of the challenges were given a chance to be a part of the Grand Raffle, offering a variety of exciting prizes.

CAPES Week 2025 officially opened on October 8, launching with the campaign talk for the event. The speakers for the talk introduced what UP CAPES is, what it does as an organization, and what assistance it can offer to the engineering students of UP Diliman. We also got a glimpse of what’s to come for the remaining events of UP CAPES for the rest of the academic year.

The Grand Pakain was also held the same day, a tradition on the opening of CAPES Week’s annual iterations. It is a way for the organization to thank the attendees and participants for their support for CAPES Week. A photobooth was also organized on the second day, where students and participants can have their pictures taken with their friends and peers (creative or not!).

Last, but definitely not the least, this year’s CAPES Week exhibit was also unveiled. Carrying last year’s slogan, ‘Engineered to Excel’, the achievements and milestones of UP CAPES were showcased using different elements in the exhibit. The exhibit was a testament to what the organization has accomplished over the years, and what it plans to do in the future as it continues to work in service of the engineering body of the university.
