Introductory

Credential and Experience Verification

Interviewers often verify details from your resume, so expect questions like “How well did you do in your major subjects?” or “What training has prepared you for this role?” Answer clearly and provide specific examples to showcase your qualifications.

Behavioral

These questions assess how you’ve handled situations in the past to predict future performance. When asked these types of questions, it’s best to draw from personal experiences. Be the best storyteller that you can be, describe concisely .

Company Knowledge

There is a huge positive impact if you are knowledgeable on the company as it shows your interest in getting the position. Expect questions like “Why do you want to work here?” or “How can you contribute?” Be specific and show genuine interest in the role.

Situational

Interviewers may present a complex problem related to the role, testing your decision-making, critical thinking, and how you work under pressure. However, these questions are normally open-ended, meaning that there is no correct answer!

Strengths and Weaknesses

Always highlight your strengths and how they add value to the company, but stay grounded and realistic. Don’t be afraid to acknowledge your weaknesses—everyone has them and honesty shows self-awareness. Interviewers want the best fit for their team, so focus on improvement rather than dwelling on weaknesses.
