Sometimes, after accepting a job offer, you may realize it’s not the right fit. Similar to rejecting a company, be professional. Explain everything clearly and be straight-forward; don’t fall into the temptation of negotiations. After informing the company, it is best to send an email to finalize everything.

Sample Rejection After Accepting Letter

Dear Mr. Richard Gonzales,

After giving a great deal of thought to this career opportunity, I have decided that it is in my best interest, as well as the company’s, to turn down your job offer. I have decided to accept another position that I believe is a better fit for my abilities and skill set. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience my decision may cause. I continue to be impressed with Company ABC and particularly with the great work you have done as the head recruiter.

Yours sincerely,
Juan Karlos Dela Cruz
